Heat and humidity with "hit or miss" showers and storms next few days

A weak frontal system continues to hang around the Mid-Atlantic region and it will enhance our chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms over the next few days. Temperatures will remain on the high side with highs likely to reach 90 degrees for the next couple of days along with uncomfortable humidity levels. Another weak front to our west will likely pass through the region by the weekend reducing our chances for scattered showers over the weekend; however, temperatures will still remain quite warm.
