Discussion

The Arctic air will not feel quite as harsh today as the winds will be noticeably weaker than yesterday, but highs will once again have trouble reaching 30 degrees and it'll be a bitter cold start to the day. A weak front will cross the region overnight and that could produce a few snow showers late tonight and early tomorrow as temperatures will be well below freezing. This Arctic air mass will then quickly retreat as we close out the week and highs on Saturday should return to the low 50’s. Another cold front, however, will pass through the region by Sunday and a wave of low pressure may form along the front giving us a chance for some rain on Sunday. It turns slightly colder again on Monday behind that frontal system.
