6:45 PM | Intense snow band headed for Philly metro region

Paul Dorian

Discussion

An intense band of heavy snow is advancing towards the Philly metro region and will pass through Chester County first between 7 and 7:30 PM and then Delaware and Montgomery Counties between 8 and 8:30 PM and then Bucks and Philadelphia Counties between 8:30 and 9 PM. This band is the leading edge of the Arctic invasion and it will contain heavy snow bursts, strong wind gusts, a quick drop in temperatures and drastically reduced visibilities. All of this will make for dangerous driving conditions with "freeze-up" conditions as temperatures drop to well below freezing during the next several hours.
