Discussion

This widespread warm weather pattern will unquestionably break many temperature records over the next several days in the eastern two/thirds of the country, and it looks like it will continue here in the Mid-Atlantic for the next ten days or so. There will be a mix of clouds and sun around here today with temperatures possibly climbing past 75 degrees, and there is the chance for a shower or thundershower, but much of the day will be rain-free. Generally, dry conditions continue here after today until late this week when showers may return as a weak frontal system approaches the area. It could turn even warmer early next week.
