Discussion

High pressure to our north and a stalled out weakening frontal system to our south are the main players on the weather scene for the next few days here in the Mid-Atlantic region. Moisture to our southwest will slowly work its way to the northeast and that will likely generate more unsettled conditions around here this weekend with the daily threat for a few showers and thunderstorms although much of the time will be rain-free. A cold frontal system will then pass through the region on Monday preventing any extreme heat from building up.
