Discussion

A cool front passed through the region last night and high pressure will provide relief from the recent heat and humidity – but only on a temporary basis. That front has stalled to our south and will lift north tomorrow as a warm front and, as a result, we’ll have a return on Thursday of the heat and humidity along with the threat for showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms that form late tomorrow could very well be on the strong-to-severe side so we'll have to monitor the situation closely.
