Some incredible snowfall reports are coming in this morning; especially, from Long Island and New England where it is still snowing. Here is a sampling from Long Island first and then from New England where these snowfall amounts will be increased:

Upton, NY 30.3” (does the “.3” really matter there?), Islip Airport, NY, 27.8”, Stony Brook, NY 27.5”, Bridgeport, CT 30”, Stratford, CT, 24”, Milford, CT 38”, New Haven, CT 34.3, Waterbury, CT 24”, Westport, CT 24.5" (82 mph wind gust) Norwich, CT 25”, Tolland, CT 35” with an amazing 12” in 2 hours, Worcester, MA 28”, Boston, MA 21.8” with a wind gust to 76 mph (all-time record there is 27.5" from Feb. 2003), Portland, ME 29.3” (record snowfall there, old record 27.1" from 1979), Gorham, ME 31.4”.

Here are some more “credible” results from around the NYC metro region: Central Park, NY 11.4”, LaGuardia Airport, NY 12.1”, JFK Airport, NY 6.4”.

Around Philly, some of the highest readings by county are as follows: 6.3” in Springtown, PA (Bucks), 3.0” in Telford, PA (Montgomery), 3.0" in Wayne (Delaware), 1.5” in West Chester, PA (Chester) and 4.7” in Somerton, PA (Philadelphia County), and Philly Intl Airport recorded 1.4" (South Philly). In the Poconos: Pocono Lake in Monroe County reported 8" of snow.

In New Jersey, a sampling of some of the highest readings by county are as follows: 2.5" Mays Landing (Atlantic), 4.5" Pemberton (Burlington), 7.0" Princeton (Mercer), 9.0" Ocean Twp (Monmouth), 14" Chatham (Morris), 9.0" Point Pleasant (Ocean), 13.2" Highland Lakes (Sussex).
