Discussion

It’ll turn very warm and humid this week, and the transition from the weekend dry and cool conditions will be unsettled over the next 12-24 hours with occasional showers, and possible thunderstorms, and some of the rain that occurs can be heavy at times. It’ll stay relatively cool today with the thick clouds and occasional rain as a warm front slowly works its way through the area. By later tomorrow, the new warm and humid air mass will become well established in the region and this will set the stage for a hot and humid period from Thursday through Saturday. By late Sunday, a cold front will approach from the west increasing our chances again for more shower and thunderstorm activity at the end of the upcoming weekend and early part of next week.
