High pressure will still control our weather today with copious amounts of sunshine and continued comfortable conditions and high temperatures not far from 80 degrees. The high loses control of our weather on later Wednesday as it shifts offshore and a cold front will approach the region on Thursday. The chance for showers and thunderstorms will increase late Wednesday night and Thursday before another high pressure system heads our way to close out the week.
