The unseasonal chill will continue for an extended period in southern California and a hard freeze is possible late tonight/early Friday in interior valley locations and frost can’t be ruled out in coastal valleys. A system will bring the chance for some rain showers in the region late Friday night and early Saturday and it could be just cold enough for snow in nearby higher elevations.
