Hot and humid start to the week, but much nicer finish
Paul Dorian
A couple of hot days are in store for the region to begin the week, but then a strong mid-July Canadian high pressure system will provide us with very comfortable weather Wednesday through Friday. High temperatures will likely reach 90 degrees today and tomorrow, but should hold in the mid 80’s for the 2nd half of the work week. A thunderstorm is possible with the cool front from later tonight through Tuesday, but this will not be like the widespread rain event that occurred last Friday. Today- mostly sunny, hot and humid, highs near 90 (normal high is now 84 at Central Park)
Tonight- muggy and warm with the chance for a thunderstorm late, mid 70’s for lows
Tues- partly sunny, hot and humid with the chance for a thunderstorm, low 90’s
Wed- mostly sunny, breezy, warm and much more comfortable, upper 80’s
Thurs- mostly sunny, pleasant, low-to-mid 80’s
Fri- mostly sunny, still pleasant, low-to-mid 80’s
