One more hot and humid day before noticeable relief

Paul Dorian

We’ll have to suffer through one more hot and humid day today before a cool front works its way through the region paving the way for a comfortable air mass for the rest of the week. A thunderstorm cannot be ruled out for today or early tonight with the passage of the frontal system before overall humidity levels begin to drop late tonight and especially during the day tomorrow. Large Canadian high pressure will dominate the weather picture beginning tomorrow and lasting right into the weekend with pleasant temperatures and humidity levels. This large high may very well control our weather right through the upcoming weekend as it looks like it’ll slow down once it reaches the coastal waters off of New England. Today- partly sunny, hot and humid, slight chance for a thunderstorm, highs in the low-to-mid 90’s

Tonight- still the slight chance for a thunderstorm early then turning slightly cooler late, upper 60’s by morning

Wed- mostly sunny, breezy, more comfortable humidity levels, still quite warm, upper 80’s

Thurs- mostly sunny, pleasant, low-to-mid 80’s

Fri- mostly sunny, pleasant, low-to-mid 80’s

Sat- mostly sunny, still pleasant, low-to-mid 80’s

Sun- mostly sunny, warm, mid-to-upper 80’s
