Discussion

The pattern has flipped to somewhat cooler and wetter than normal for the last few days and today will feature another day with below 90 degree readings and a possible shower or thunderstorm. The slow-moving storm system that has caused the significant rain event in the Mid-Atlantic region over the last few days is currently spinning off the New England coast and will finally be replaced by high pressure on Wednesday. This break in the wet pattern, however, will be short-lived as more inclement weather is likely on Thursday and Friday.
