Discussion

Milder air will head our way for today and tomorrow and then another cold front will swing through the region by Sunday morning. It’ll turn colder behind the front on Sunday and Monday, but this is a moderately cold air mass coming, and not at all as bitter as the recent Arctic blast. A wave of low pressure will likely form along the front and it is conceivable that it throws back enough moisture our way early Monday for a little snow or rain. As has happened frequently this winter so far, that next colder air mass will retreat rather quickly and we may be pushing 50 degrees again by mid-week. A significant rain event is likely Wednesday night/Thursday and that storm will usher in colder air for the end of next week.
