Tonight will turn out to be one of the coldest nights that we’ve had in quite awhile as temperatures should drop to the low-to-mid 20’s in most locations. As reinforcing cold air moves into the region early this evening, there can be a few snow showers in the area; especially, in the western and southern suburbs (e.g. southern Chester County, Delaware County, northern Delaware). Skies will clear later on tonight and temperatures will drop through the 30’s into the 20’s. Tomorrow will once again feature highs no better than the low 40’s, but then a significant two-day warm up will occur on Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures approaching 60 degrees on Wednesday and then climbing well into the 60’s on Thursday. It’ll turn cooler again on Friday and Saturday before another warming trend begins late in the weekend.
