Discussion

Warmer air advanced into the region yesterday and afternoon temperatures approached 80 degrees following a warm frontal passage in the early morning hours. A backdoor cool front, however, then passed through the area last night and an ocean flow of air has developed behind that front which will reduce our temperatures considerably for today and tomorrow. By Friday, that front will lift back to the north of us and temperatures will be off to the races in what will likely turn out to be the warmest day of the week. Temperatures could reach the mid 80’s on Friday and, while still warm on Saturday, they will begin a downward trend that will continue into early next week.
