Discussion

The strong cold front that helped to set off strong thunderstorms overnight is now moving slowly towards the east coast and the weather will improve later this afternoon with increasing sunshine and lowering humidity. The next couple of days will be quite comfortable with pleasant temperatures and humidity levels, but then another low pressure system will head from the Ohio Valley towards New England this weekend. That system will cause more shower activity around here from later Friday into Saturday and then another pleasant air mass will follow to close out the weekend.
