Discussion

The extreme heat is gone, but the humidity remains and some serious, beneficial rains are likely between tonight and early Saturday. In fact, Friday could turn out to be a cool, rainy day with an ocean breeze and temperatures only in the 70's as a wave of low pressure rides along a stalled out frontal system just to our south. Gradual clearing should take place on Saturday as high pressure takes control and less humid air moves into the region and Sunday promises to be quite nice and comfortable.
