Discussion

Yesterday’s low pressure system has shifted off the Mid-Atlantic coast and very chilly air has moved in behind the storm. Temperatures will hold in the 30’s today and wind chills will be even lower, but this cold air mass will modify quickly this weekend with high temperatures moving back up into the 40’s on both days. A strong cold front whips through the region late this weekend and that will usher in the coldest air of the season so far with very cold conditions throughout the Mid-Atlantic during the early and middle parts of next week.
