Discussion

Low pressure has scooted off the east coast and we’ll get back to mostly sunny conditions today as high pressure moves into the region. A strong cold front will sweep across the area on Friday night and that will set the stage for much colder air to moves into the eastern states this weekend. In fact, this cold air outbreak will make it all the way down into the Deep South with a possible freeze over the weekend in Florida. There is an increasing threat that a wave of low pressure will accompany the cool down in the east late Friday night and Saturday and it could bring more accumulating snow to the region.
