An area of moisture riding up the east coast will stay mainly offshore and only generate the chance for a few showers around here over the next 36 hours. By mid-week, a cold front will approach from the Midwest and it could generate some shower and thunderstorm activity around here late in the day or at night on Wednesday. Drier air moves in for the second half of the week and temperatures will be fairly close to normal for this time of year.
