A cold front crossed the region last night without much rain and the next couple of days will be slightly below normal temperature-wise, but there will be plenty of sunshine. High pressure builds into the region for the weekend and temperatures will rebound slightly to more pleasant levels on both weekend days. Moisture to our southwest will move into the Mid-Atlantic region early next week generating some clouds and perhaps a few showers.
