Discussion

After a warm and relatively moderately humid day today, high pressure will push off the Northeast coastline early Friday and this will usher in a return to higher humidity air for tomorrow afternoon and Saturday. While there can be an scattered showers and thunderstorms later today and again on Friday afternoon/evening, a more widespread threat comes on Saturday with the approach of the next cool frontal system. Once that next cool front clears the east coast on Sunday, cooler and drier air will push into the area and it’ll stay cooler-than-normal on Monday and Tuesday as well.
