Discussion

High pressure has moved off the east coast and the flow behind it over the next few days will bring in milder and more humid air for the Mid-Atlantic region. In addition to the increased moisture, there will be a frontal system in the mix that moves in from the west and then stalls near the east coast. This combination will lead to an unsettled weather pattern that lasts right through the week and perhaps well into the weekend. Later this week a low pressure system will develop along the stalled out front and enhance our rainfall with potentially heavy rain at times later Thursday and Friday.
