Discussion

Winds will pick up today and clouds will tend to increase as a weak frontal system closes in and it could cause a few showers around here later today and tonight, but nothing on the heavy side. Milder air will funnel in for the second half of the week riding in on a southwesterly flow of air that will develop and a shower cannot be ruled out on either Wednesday or Thursday. Showers are more likely on Friday as a strong cold front approaches and quite a powerful storm will develop to our north along the front by Friday night and Saturday. This storm will dramatically enhance our winds for the weekend in a much cooler air mass that will follow the frontal passage.
