Discussion
A good start for Mid-Atlantic baseball yesterday as the Mets, Nationals and Phillies won their openers - all by one run. The Yankees and Orioles open up their seasons later today. As far as the upcoming weather is concerned, large and strong high pressure will dominate the weather picture around here right through the weekend with mostly sunny days and clear, cold nights. Sunshine will boost afternoon temperatures to near 60 degrees each weekend day, but it could turn cooler again next week as the overall weather pattern changes somewhat to allow for the development of a trough in the eastern US.
