Discussion

Another major snowstorm is headed to the southern Rockies from later tonight through tomorrow evening and it is likely to dump another 6-12 inches on the Denver metro region by late tomorrow night. Today will be a transition day “temperature-wise” from the mild conditions of yesterday to the winter cold coming for tomorrow. Winds will become a problem during the storm with gusts to 35 mph causing reduced visibilities, blowing and drifting. There will also be hazardous driving conditions with the low visibility and slick snow and ice-covered conditions.
