Discussion
Cooler-than-normal weather continues for another day, but strong high pressure is likely to build in overhead for the second half of the week. In fact, strong upper level ridging will expand westward at all levels of the atmosphere later this weekn and the result will be a significant warming trend for much of the west. Temperatures by Thursday and Friday should climb well up into the 70’s along coastal regions as the high pressure system takes control of our weather pattern and diminishes the onshore flow of air for awhile and interior locations could see the 90's by Friday afternoon.
