Discussion

High pressure ridging along the east coast will keep it dry around here for another day, but then strong low pressure over the Gulf of Mexico will bring a heavy rain event to much of Florida from Wednesday into Thursday. Occasional rain is likely from Wednesday into Thursday and some of the rain can be heavy at times. In addition, thunderstorms are possible during this mid-week event and some of these can be on the strong side. This low pressure area will only slow push away from the state so true clearing will have to wait until Friday.
